The Department of Computer Application was started in the academic year 2001-02. The programme is running successfully with highly qualified faculties with an intake of 180. The department works with a vision for becoming a leading division in Computer Application and providing holistic and quality education within reach of all.
The department has efficient and experienced faculty members in various specialized areas of Computer Application and has been consistently producing skilled and well-equipped post graduates with top university ranks in M.C.A. with outstanding academic and overall performance. The class room lectures are enriched by special talks on subjects of topical interest by experts from the IT industry, R&D establishments and academic institutions of repute. A high speed internet laboratory with Wi-Fi facilities is provided for both staff & students which is kept open till 10 PM everyday. All the Oxford Educational Institutions are connected with OFC corporate networking for both data transfer with video conferencing. The Campus is automated with latest MIS software SmartCapus with biometric features. The students can access their information through the internet /Kiosk touch screen.
The server room is furnished with various latest servers including e-Vidya. The students are trained through English language lab for improving their verbal, non-verbal & aptitude skills. The department conducts a National Symposium & IT Fest – Magnetics every year, which provides a platform to our students to interact with students of other colleges. The department has a student forum SLIM – Students Learning Interaction Module where the students can exhibit their talents. Our Students are employed by renowned IT companies in India and abroad through the campus selection.
